If you regularly shop in grocery stores, you will notice that the store gives out brown paper bags and plastic bags for 10 cents at checkout. We noticed that though these bags are reusable, they are only reusable for a certain amount of time until they wear out. Also, more importantly, these bags aren’t good for the planet because of what they are made out of. That is what we are here to solve..
Almost all plastic is evolved from materials, extracting and transporting those fuels creates billions of tonnes of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are gases that emit radiant energy. The greenhouse effect is warming the earth's surface and the air above it. If we continue to throw out our plastic the greenhouse effect will continue and get worse, which obviously means that global warming will continue to get worse.
it is a huge concern to many people that if by 2030 we don’t cut down the greenhouse gas emissions the EARTH will be in danger and possibly get overheated. There are a lot of things we can do to solve this in the next ten years but it may not be enough. Since we are the next generation that will become adults we have to act now, whether that’s recycling or even cutting down on your eating habits we can be the change we want to see.
Overall, you can see that our CBL group is inspired and extremely enthusiastic to solve this recycling issue that is easily overlooked. We hope that our reusable bags throughout grocery stores will help others pay attention to recycling and realize that it is an important thing in order to keep our planet clean and continue to stay that way.
